Rangers President, and former pitcher, predicts the Rangers will take their first World Series Penant in game 6 over the Cardinals.

Rangers were crowned American League Champions for the second year in a row after a dominant game 6 to advance past the Detroit Tigers and head on to face the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2011 World Series.

The game turned into a rout during the third inning when the Rangers scored 9 and Micheal Young finally came to life in the post season. But as the game progressed almost every hitter got a piece of the Tigers, with several club records being set in the process. Detroit looked for a solution, switching out 4 pitchers during the third inning alone but the Rangers just kept coming. The game ended with the Rangers over the Tigers by a score of 15 to 5 and the Ballpark in Arlington showered in confetti.
